Cottage at Black MoshannanThe "Cottage at Black Moshannan" is situated on 1/2 acre of private property surrounded by state forest and private property. It is newly remodeled with modern facilities, creating a cozy retreat from everyday hectic life, but close enough to victorian Bellefonte, Penn State University, State College, Philipsburg, Altoona, and Penns Valley for fine dining, Penn State sporting events, evening entertainment, cultural excursions and shopping. Up to 8 people can have exclusive use of this getaway home, with two bedrooms having one double bed each, one bedroom with twin beds and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. We provide bedding, cookware, plates, utensils, bakeware, silverware, glasses, bath towels, and cleaning supplies. A microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, stove and water cooler are included. If you prefer, you may bring your own bedding and bath towels. There is telephone service with local calling only, so you will need to bring a calling card. Cell service is not always available. A TV, DVD player, and Dish Network are provided. (Service with the dish is not guaranteed.) We have a large private deck on the back of the cottage and a fenced-in yard. Responsible alcohol usage is permitted for those of age. Smoking is allowed on the front porch only. Pets are allowed with prior approval and an additional fee of $50/weekend or $100/week.
